Forseeing trends and new products unveiled

In line with global calls and development trends in the general environment, the sustainability process of the plastic packaging industry is consecutively advancing with the development of the times. Especially in the past two years, the standardized development of the plastic packaging industry has ushered in a milestone breakthrough.

Since the promulgation of plastic restriction orders in various countries at home and abroad, the EU's Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), "Plastics Convention Zero Draft", "Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulations" PPWR, "General Principles for the Evaluation of Plastic Products' Easily Recyclable and Renewable Design", CGF Gold A number of new international regulations such as design principles have also been formulated to promote the development of the entire plastic packaging industry into a healthier trend.

Among them, the latest revised PPWR by the European Parliament clearly proposes to increase the reduction target of plastic packaging, reducing it by 5% by 2030, 10% by 2035, and 15% by 2040; and the target for reducing plastic packaging is even more stringent. Harsh, reduce by 10% by 2030, 15% by 2035, and 20% by 2040, and emphasize that by 2030 all packaging (regardless of the material used) can be recycled. The plastics industry chain may be about to undergo tremendous changes, but it also fully proves that recyclable and recyclable packaging will be the mainstream direction in the future.

So, under the guidance of mainstream policies, how can the plastic packaging industry use new products, new technologies, and new dimensions to tell a more sustainable new story? At this seminar, Mingca Packing also gave the answer.

Jorge said at the meeting that the current market has a very strong demand for recyclable packaging. Mingca Packing has joined hands with ExxonMobil to develop targeted and innovative film solutions based on environmental protection concerns. This is in response to increasingly stringent regulatory changes and film packaging requirements, and provides a relatively mild medium and long term plan transitional plan for sustainable recycling development of plastic products under the currently contentious EU PPWR regulations.
