Advantage of High Transparency
Compare with POF and Cross-linked Shrink Film, the transparency of PEF is much more better, which are under the same optical conditions.
The packaging effect is excellent, it can be applied to high-end product packaging and suitable for automatic and semi-automatic packaging machinery.
Advantage of Low Shrinkage Temperature
Shrinkage temperature suggestion: 135-150℃
(need to be adjusted according to different packaging machine temperature and transmission speed)
Small and Soft Corners
Compare with the traditional POF shrink film, PEF has better shrinking outcome with soft corner and strong sealing. The softness of PEF is increased by about 40%. The PEF performance data is very lose to that of the cross-linked film. The corners after shrinking are small and soft.
Outstanding Shrinkage Performance
In the silicone oil test of 120℃-150℃ film surface temperature, the shrinkage rate of PEF is better than that of POF, which is close to that of cross-linked films. Upon the shrinkage effect, PEF has similar performance as that of cross-linked films.In the silicone oil test of 115°c film surface temperature,the shrinkage rate of PEF is the highest among the three types of films, reaching more than 50%. The shrinkage effect of PEF at low temperature is excellent.
Energy Saving Potential
PEF has excellent low-temperature shrinkage performance, which can offer potential cost saving opportunity for enterprise production.
Excellent Optical Performance
In terms of haze testing, the data of PEF shrink film just 2.8%. The result indicates that the PEF shrink film has excellent light transmittance, which is up to 45% higher than that of POF and cross-linked films.
Excellent Tensile Strength
The machine direction and transverse direction tensile strength of the PEF reaches more than 100 Mpa, with good tensile properties and flexibility.
